Download| Minimum | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | 12 Monterey or newer | Separate Apple Silicon and Intel builds. |
| Windows | 10 64-bit or newer | x64 only on this channel. |
| RAM | 4 GB | 16 GB helps if you reformat 4K and run AI subtitles together. |
| Disk | 500 MB app | Plus temp space for engines, caches, and whatever you download. |
The download is intentionally small: the UI shell, updater, and license glue. After you accept the first-run prompt, the app pulls versioned engines (for example yt-dlp and ffmpeg) into a cache folder so IT can whitelist a predictable download instead of baking giant binaries into every DMG or MSI.
When we publish checksums alongside release artifacts, compare the published SHA256 with your download before you install on sensitive machines. On macOS:
shasum -a 256 CliprStudio.dmg
— on Windows use CertUtil or your preferred tool. If the hash mismatches, delete the file and re-download.
We ship stable builds for everyday work. A beta toggle (placeholder in the marketing copy—wire-up lives in the app) lets early adopters test queue and engine changes faster. Expect rough edges on beta; keep stable installs for client-facing weeks.
See the public changelog and the blog for capture and subtitle notes.
All builds stay reachable without JavaScript. URLs come from one config file so CI can swap artifacts without editing prose.
